Augmented Realty from Mobile Magic allows real estate agents and developers
to visualize buildings and show them to prospective buyers before they are
built. The app works by overlaying a 3D model of the home on top of the live
video being displayed on a smartphone or tablet at the location. As the viewer
walks around the lot, they can see the building from all angles. If it is a new
development, the viewer will be able to see where all the neighbors will be as
well. House models are generated from drawings or pre-existing architectural
models. To set up a building to view, simply place the 3D building model on
the lot where it will be, then scale and rotate it appropriately, all using the
same app!
